Salmon Sperm Baby?!?
September 6th, 2008
It’s moments, no minutes away from Tropical Storm Hanna hits The Bahamas, we are sitting in Fat Cats, wondering what to do next in the event the storm moves our way.
Do we go home now or order another round?
Beer! More of the good stuff, bartender! Thanks.
It’s only a tropical storm, right. Close behind Hanna is Category 4 hurricane Ike then….
Bartender! We need a round of shots… Something fruity.
In all this chaos, there is organization….
South Florida is a place where people go to get weird.

~Random thought du jour. Why I travel?
Wanderlust is a thread we travelers have in common. The desire to coast, wander, explore the world with or without a map pumps through our veins like madness. Sitting still, is not an option rather it’s like a torture to our beings.
The excitement of seeing new places, new faces, and tasting the local cuisine is like a bug, you catch it once and it’s hard to cure.
In wandering with a purpose, we not only discover new environments but we gain invaluable insight into our souls. The end result we find who we are through exploring outside of the comfort zone. But wandering without a purpose, without a reason, we, tragically, end up more lost than we were before.
Song du jour - french rock band Louise Attaque
Within chaos, there is organization.
Great song representing the struggle of making the break, finding the reason to let go of someone you once felt was worth your time.
I’m no longer jaded
Now I’m living
In Paradise
It took enough time
To finally wake up
I’m no longer jaded
Paradise has found me
And I meet it with a
Big embrace.
Sweet deal at Dunkin Donuts. Free internet and computer access on a Sony VAIO desktop. Drink a coffee. Surf the net. Mingle. Get a number or two for an upcoming date and go home knowing you got a better deal than you can get at Starbucks. And the coffee is better.
Thanks Dunkin, for putting a smile on my face at your Fort Lauderdale location on N Powerline Avenue.
